Weekend was packed to the brim. 2 photoshoot in the mornings, 1 birthday celebration & a movie night.
We celebrated Sue’s birthday @ Umaiya Japanese Restaurant on Saturday. Earlier before lunch, we were at Sunway for a family portrait photoshoot. We vowed that we must finish on time, so that we can speed off home to grab the kids and head to the restaurant. We managed to finish off the photoshoot on time and off we went to Umaiya Japanese Restaurant. The last I visited the restaurant was during my Anniversary Celebration.
This round we booked a room, knowing there are 4 toddlers + 1 baby. But I don’t quite like the room setup, cause it comes with tables and chairs instead of tatami style. Come to think of it, it’s quite space consuming.
Birthday Girl & the kids were late. When they arrived, we (Evelyn, my bro & gf, myself, Faythe & Vyktore) already polish off most of the 1st round ordering. So we went ahead with 2nd round ordering when they arrived.
Then we had 3rd round, 4th round, and the final 2 rounds of ice creams.
Evelyn brought cupcakes for Sue hehe…but oops, we didn’t have the candles. So we just sang song and ate the cupcakes.
We were the last to leave the restaurant at 230pm.
All went home and took a long nap till 6pm. Then I bath the kids and we got ready for our 2nd activity, Ice Age 3.
Vyktore been I-Sage-ing (he pronounce Ice Age as I-Sage) me the whole week, even when we were at 1utama, he kept Ice-Sage-ing me and I had to repeatedly tell him that, “Yes, we are watching Ice Age later, now Mommy must go buy some stuff first”.
Again, we meet up with Sue, Ivan & Izac for the movies. My brother & gf came along as well, so I could ditch my maid at home nyek nyek nyek…
I enjoyed the movie as much as the kids did.
Faythe had her own seat and were glued to her seat from the start till finish. Some parts of it, she even shouted “Run faster run” and her legs and hands were moving as though she’s running haha..No, we didn’t watch 3D, it’s the normal screening. She sounds as though she’s part of the movie.
Vyktore, speechless. When the dinosaur came on screen, he got a scare and didn’t want to watch. So I asked him to close his eyes. From then on, my hands were literally stuck to his face so that he could half cover his face, half watch the movie LOL. He adores dinosour, but not very sure why he’s afraid of them when they are on big screen.
That was pretty much what happened over the weekend. Sunday was another photoshoot at Kepong. Then I brought the kids for a haircut. I went for a haircut too. Then we had some fun at the park and had dinner before heading home. Packed weekend but enjoyed it totally. I must maximize all my time usage before Daddy comes back :).
More photos taken during the lunch at Umaiya Japanese Restaurant.
Faythe also busy taking photo with my camera phone. She got upset when all of us were busy taking photo and nobody wanted to pose for her.
This is some tofu *yong* with some meat and deep fried. Love this. First time tasting this. Recommended by Evelyn.
With all the meat & fried food, we need to stay abit healthy with some Umaiya Salad. It comes with Avocado, crabsticks, lettuce & other stuff. I find it a bit salty though.
Izac, having his share of chawanmushi.
Eve & Sue, classmates in school. I knew Eve via another net friend, only to find out later we were schoolmates. Then I met Sue over the net only to find out we were schoolmates too, then I intro both of them online since they are from the same year and voila, they were classmates LOL. What in the world is this LOL.
Some sushi I ordered can’t recall what’s the name. It has some crunchy stuff in it, with some raw salmon. I finished most of it cause everyone else were stuffed to the brim.
I think this is softshell crab sushi, come with omelette. Can’t recall if I ate this or not though.
My all time favourite, fried Unagi with Teriyaki Sauce. I ordered 2 plates of this and can you imagine I polished off most of it cause most of them don’t eat Unagi!! Gosh, this is Daddy’s all time favourite!!
Yakitori, grilled chicken. Sue’s kids love this, we had 2-3 plates.
My bro’s GF, Joni. So happen it’s long weekend in Penang, she came over. Enjoying her green tea ice cream.
Who else, me and my handsome boy. So difficult to get him pose for photos nowadays.
Vyktore, he had a great time running in circles in the room. The only thing we love about the room was the wallpaper, DUHH!!
Ivan, just arrived at the restaurant looking blur. And that’s my dearest brother. He’s older than me, let me tell you this before everyone thinks I’m the oldest :P.
Evelyn, busy playing with her iPhone 3GS. Slurps slurpss…Joley, almost going to Lala-Land.
Busy placing orders on the order sheet. This is Faythe, her expression enjoying salmon. She had like 10 slices or more of salmon!! And I told her it’s good for brain, so she thinks by eating more she’d be smarter than Mommy :P.
Softshell crab. The kids love this. We ordered like 3-4 plates. Dragon roll, you can’t miss this, 2 plates please!!
Baby Octopus & another variety of tofu. Didn’t quite like this one though.
Are you hungry enough? Hehehe…So what did you do during the weekend?
